Fill effect patterns?

My client needs to be able to print out their dashboards and since they only have access to a black and white printer, I have been asked to find a way to use some sort of fill effect pattern or skin on the bar and pie charts so items can be easily identified. I am at a loss on how to go about doing this. I using Xcelsius 2008 and would really appreciate any help. Thanks,
