Would like functionality similar to using the Distribution Expert in earlier versions. I am upgrading from Crystal 8 connected via a network ODBC.

could you please be more specific on what you're trying to do ?
I mean - the lame answer is - you fill out those prompts and run the report.

There is no longer a "Distribution Expert" where you can compile the report into a viewer from Crystal so that users can run it outside of Crystal. Instead, you would have to write either a .NET or a Java program using the appropriate SDK to set up a viewer that will run the report for your users.

See list of 3rd-party Crystal Reports Viewer here.
They can all prompt for parameters and refresh data.
