Thanks Mark for your Help

I have checked Oracle Home directory. But I didn't find any file related to your suggestion.

Hi,

they are 'attributes'

So from the home of ora<sid>

ls -lta

you will see all the . files

Hi

Reboot your server again and check if all the filesystems are mounted properly.

If so, then login as ora<SID> user and start listener.

Hi Mark

As I am Novice user, however I have check /oracle/SID/ directory for .sapenv., .dbenv. files but I didn't find any file.

Then I have executed "env" command as a "root", Output is written below.

Hi,

Could you past the environment for both users...

the orasid and sidadm environments should show the following like :

LOGIN=orasid

SAPSYSTEMNAME=SID

DIR_LIBRARY=/usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run

THREAD=NOPS

dbms_type=ORA

dbs_ora_tnsname=SID

dbs_ora_schema=SAPSR3

ORACLE_SID=SID

DB_SID=SID

ORACLE_BASE=/oracle

Hi Mark,

Thank you very much for all your help and suggestion.

I checked all the environment variable suggested by you with my production system. Added Missing Environment Variables via Export Command, & rebooted the server. When System restarted I tried to use "SU" command and "VOILA". I didn't see that old "%" sign.

Once again I would like to thank all the experts replied to my question. All your help is really appreciated.

Mark I have rewarded you full points. Issue Resolved please close it.

Hello Rizvi

Login with SIDADM

run trans -d And check the trans.log file.

U will get proper solution in that file. And if possible than share trans.log with us.
