Hi experts

while creating locations, in excise after ecc no: there are 3 nos none, xm and XD what is that

if we are selecting none also one time only is adding after that it was telling no duplicated no?

also why it was mandatory? kindly explain experts.

Hi Anand.....

It is One of the Mandatory fields in SAP if your unit is Excisable then you must give the ECC No. with XD or XM.

If none of these two then mention None.

XD stands for Dealer (Depot) and XM for Manufacturer which should be bind compulsorily with PAN details.

If you do these all settings then only you can raise the Excise Invoices and get the credit of the same.

It is irreversible.......

another doubt i had seen in 8.8 xm xd em ed and sd.

what is that for and shall we can create new one??

Ok it might be. Because in my Version its not there and i guess we can not create more categories.....

But the field meaning is for Company type like Trader, Manufacturer, Agency, Real Estate...

So I guess SAP is looking for more company tyoes here so that others should get the benefit of SAP.........
