Hello Experts,
Kindly give me the solution to reverse the posted depreciation through AFAB ASAP.
Our financial year is January to December.
We want to reverse the depreciation posted for the month of 03,2011
Thanks Experts for the help.
But i wanted to reverse for all the assets which were posted and created 3 documents after running AFAB.
Also i wanted to knowif the depreciation run went into the error and documents are not yet posted. But in asset master it shows for the assets in the posted tab the third month's depreciation tab as green. Is there any option to reverse them all. And run the depreciation as it is running for the first time?

Hi
there is no direct feature of reversing the posted depreciation.... In Asset Accounting, you cant reverse it... however, you can reverse the impact in FI.... Refer this thread.... (T code ABF1)
By the way, since it is current month (Mar 2011), you can again run the depreciation in REPEAT mode in AFAB if any thing wrong has been posted in the depreciation run

Hi
You can use one process as mentioned below
Step 1: Create a Depreciation Key having Zero as depreciation percentage
Step 2 : Assign that Depreciation Key into Asset Master
Step 3: Then go to Depreceiation TCode AFAB & Select the Repeat Run Radio Button for the selected Asset
Step 4: Run the Depreciation
Hope through this process you can solve your problems

Praveen
