Web Service Error: 500 Connection Timed Out

I am calling a web service (RFC) from a .NET application and sometimes, not always, I receive an error message '500 Connection Timed Out'. Any idea what this is?

Some error details:

Error -5

Version 6020

Component ICM

Module icxxthr_mt.c
