Hi,

I have an question about the MAS, too. Is there any documentation about MAS itself and also a modification guide? I have to modify a couple of things and I actually struggle to sometimes to understand the framework.

At the moment I basically just want to place a breakpoint at the place, when someone is pressing the "Save" button in the application menu/header to investigate an error that happens. However, I have spend the whole day to find the piece of code, where the data of the current tile is saved.

Would be really helpful if anyone can point me into the right direction or to the suitable documentation!

Thank you!

Andreas

Hello Oskar, Gregor,

The MAS (full Name: SAP Mobile Application Studio) is the development tool to develop, enhance or modify SAP CRM Mobile Applications (e.g. SAP CRM Mobile Sales).

The MAS belongs to the CRM Mobile Client Component, which works in conjunction with the CRM Middleware. To get a better understanding about the CRM Mobile Scenario I suggest to have a look into the "Mobile Client - System Landscape Guide". This guide can be found in the service market place (quicklink \instguides -> mySAP Business Suite Solutions -> mySAP CRM -> SAP CRM 4.0 -> Mobile Client Installation Guides).

The MI technology is another technology and has nothing to do with the CRM Mobile Client Technology. Nevertheless, both MI and CRM Mobile Client Technology belong to "SAP NetWeaver Mobile" along with the "mobile online" technology which is used to develop connected mobile applications.

Kind regards,
