Hi Team,

I am using MRP type as P1. And in the planning time fence, I am giving as 2. Can any one explain, how does the system will behave during MRP?

Thanks

Hi,

MRP type P1: An order proposal that lies within the planning time fence is firmed automatically as soon as its date lies at least one day before the finish date of the planning time fence. The date of new order proposals that are actually created in the planning time fence are rescheduled out to the end of the planning time fence. Therefore, these new order proposals are not firmed.

If you have maintained the planning time fence 2, then it means system will firm plan order during these planning time fence period.

Hi,

Planning time fence work on workdays, if you maintained 1 or 2 it means the 1 or 2 working days.

Order proposals that lie within a defined planning time fence (i.e.1 or2 in your case) are firmed for the planning run if

they are set to an MRP type with the appropriate firming type(i.e. P1 in your case). The firming indicator is not set and they are only firm as long as they lie within the planning time fence.

The link is in PDF format, hence might required more time to download.
