Hi,
is there any field in the material master to maintain a successor/predecessor relationship between two SKUs.
I would like to link the old SKU to the new SKU.
Kind Regards
Jens
Hi,
Check in material master, Additional data Button, Units of measure Tab.
Also check the old material number in Basic Data1 view of the material master.
In PO, for material, in F4 option, selection based on the old material number is present.

SKU = stock keeping unit?
if yes, then the answer is no.

Yes, I mean stock keeping unit (or material number). So an extension of the material master data table in necessary for this purpose?
The problem we try to solve with the relationship is the case if there are two internal material numbers linked to one GTIN (EAN) code. The customers are ordering with the GTIN number and I would like to assure that both material numbers are considered for the transition period until the old SKU phases out.
kind regards
Jens
I would not go for extensions, use material classification
in SD you can use material determination to replace materials.
