Relationship display in publications

Hi everybody,

we are looking for a way to display related items, e.g. accessories, in a separate table in Publisher. Currently, the way relationships are displayed as additional column in the table of items, but only with the display fields. I would need another table with all the relationships and all fields just like the main items. Is there any way to do this? I'm basically looking for something that can do it in the way as in figure 160 of Publisher Reference Guide, but I can't even do this using relationships. We do not want to use matching sets, as the related products are distributed through various taxonomy nodes.

Any ideas are highly appreciated.

    Hi Christian,

    Have you tried the following:

    u2022A parent/ child relationship is defined on the main table and relationship data is filled in.

    u2022In Publisher, under the Relationships property tab, the relevant relationship data is set to u2018Includeu2019.

    Related items should show as additional table rows.

    u2022 In Publisher, under the Table Layout property tab, define a Stack Pivot by the Category field or any other logical separator.

    You may define the Stack Pivot Type= u201CSeparate Stack Pivot subtablesu201D.

    Please let me know if this is not successful.

      Hi Christian,

      For the exclusive fields (/items) that correspond only to one of the categories of the relationship, please set the following settings:

      Hiding-> Apply Pivot or Sort Before Hiding

      Hiding-> Hide Empty Item

      Hiding->Treat Each Column Separately

      The combination of these settings will make the field to appear only in the stack pivot in which it is filled with data.

      I hope this is helpful.

      Hedda Cohen.
