Create Transfer Order for Delivery without given BATCH (Bulk Storage)

Hello,

I am creating a transfer orders for delivery for a bulk storage type with LT03.

Everything works fine if there are same batches in the storage bin:

The transfer order is created with dummy HU (LEIN-STATU = 6 "To be deleted"). During confirmation of the TO, the dummy HU is changed with the real HU, which the picker has chosen.

When there is more than one batch of the same material in the storage bin there are problems.

The standard system (LT03) doesnu2019t allow me to create a transfer order without a specific batch given.

My question is:

What do I have to change in the system to achieve the behavior described above?

Is it possible?

You can customize it: SPRO>Logistics Execution>Warehouse Management>Storage Units>Define Bulk Storage Area>Storage type control>Define:

Column Total:

1 Totals information not batch-specific

2 Totals information batch-specific

You should set 1 for affected storage type.

Level of totals information
If a bulk storage area has storage unit management, the system must keep a record of the totals information since this is needed for stock removals. The exact level within the bulk storage area for this totals information is defined by this field and by the field for mixed storage in the table for storage type control.
You can control whether or not batch information can be kept in the totals information. If you have the setting "batch-neutral", stock removals are batch-neutral up to confirmation, and, if you have stock placements, the system searches for bins where the respective material, not necessarily the same batch, is stored. If you have the setting for "batch-specific", stock removals take place with the batch specification, and, in the case of stock placements, the system searches for bins that have the same batch.

Thank you very, very much for your answer.

I tried to change the settings as you mentioned and obviously run into another problem. I cannot change the u201CColumn Totalu201D to u201C1 Totals information not batch-specificu201D. Because there still exists stock in the storage type.

I get this error: u201CChanging totals info level only if no warehouse stocks existu201D Message no. LT233.

Thatu2019s a huge problem. Because the storage type has about 200 storage bins full with stock.

Do you know a trick how to solve this situation, without having to move all of the stock to a different storage type?

Hello,

you can proceed following scenario:

1. Save your current stock in excel - e.g. from LX02 (or SE16N - table LQUA)

2. Develop simple LSMW to transfer stock to temporary storage type and storage bin ( e.g. 998, AUFNAHME)

3. Change storage type definition

4. Develop simple LSMW to transfer stock from temporary storage type and storage bin ( e.g. 998, AUFNAHME) to original destination (from excel).
