Stock transfer

Hi expert

i need to transfer the expired stock to blocked stock , is this possible in the system.

If client is using QM then you can opt for recurring inspection otherwise you can go for transfer posting with 344 mvmt type.

It all depends on client busienss requirement.

Hi Nabil,

No need to scrap the material.

Create a separate storage location for block stock. Use MB1B for transfer posting with movement type 344 for transferring unrestricted use stock to blocked stock in new storage location.

In transactions MB52, MMBE, MB5B; for storage location select u2018selection optionu2019 as u2018not equal tou2019 and enter new storage location. You can save it as a new variant.

If you run the transactions with this variant, you will not get blocked stock in the list.

Hi,

You cann't block stock directly if it expired. make the MIGO Entry.

Goto MIGO and make the movement Type 551 (GI scraping) entry.

In MB52, MMBE,MB5B when i run the report,i want the system not include the those Material, if the shelf lyfe is expired.

Hi

You enter a scrap posting if a material can no longer be used.scrapping is possible from each of the three stock type and is entered as a goods issue without reference

In stander following movement type is used

1) 551=withdrawal for scrapping from unrestricted-use stock

2) 553=withdrawal for scrapping from stock in quality inspection

3) 555=withdrawal for scrapping from blocked stock
