Hi Guru.
Im new. Im modeling APO DP. I created and actived the master plannig object structure. I created the planning area and the cvc manually (1 row). When i create the time series object the system says background job scheduled successfully and not planning version successfully initialized. Why? The status of the planning area is red. Thanks.
i solved..the problem was that the planning version 000 was not consistent

Hi
Can you provide more details about the problem. Since you say that the planning area initialization status in red , it means the initialization job that you scheduled in the background ended with errors .
Check the job log and see what error message it shows. Based on the type of error message you can determine the course of action
Thanks
Aparna

No i think you did not understand what i said. Let me be more clear.
Go to transaction SM37 and display all the jobs that you scheduled in the background . The planning area initialization job will also show up . Now select that job and click on job log and you will be able to see the error. If you hav not used SM37 before take someone's help to do that
Thanks
Aparna
Hi Andreolli2,
looks like something wrong with the DB. Can you run the consistency check /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK and the DB check in OM17? After that make sure you activate the relevant MPOS before you initialize the planning area and also having at least one CVC is exists for the POS activation.
thanks!
