How to setup MIC for free text

Dear expert,

Please kindly guide me, How can i setup MIC for record result that can input free text.

IF i define MIC as quantitative when i record result as text system error "Value can't be interp. as floating-point number or longer than 22 charac"

IF i define MIC as Qualitative system ask me to input seleted set but customer would not like to used selected set.

Hi

Its not possible in standard. Either you have to use qualitative with selected set, or you can use the insp description field just beside the result field in RR screen to enter free text.
