How to set up application help

Hi,

When I click Help/Application Help to get generic application-help I only get an error-message saying that the file does not exist. This has been working fine earlier, is the central help-files moved? Where do I set up this in SAP?

Hi Thor,

To configure the Help, please do the following.

Go to Tcode SR13

Click on PlainHtmlHttp tab > New Entries

Put the following:

Variant : Documentation

Platform: WN32

Area : Documentation

Server Names: help.sap.com/

Path: The path you want (example: saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/)

Language: English

Default : Yes

It will require a transport request; you can create a new transport request here.

Hi Sujith,

I have a small query related to application help, is it possible to specify any alternate links other than help.sap.com

If so please let me know the procedure.

Our requirement is to call our own e-learning links related to the transaction, when we click on the application help.

I tried modifying the same in SR13 does not help.

SAP Html help is configures in SR13, check the file are available at the path set.
