How to access BSP externally

Hi Experts,

I'm new working with BSP, I've developed a BSP application that is already working on my browser, I've configured the parameter 'host_name_full' withing the system using the transaction RZ10 and I've modified the file 'hosts' in C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc. The application can be viewed within the LAN of the enterprise; I would like to know: How can I access this application from outside my VLAN, like a normal Internet URL?

Alessandro, thanks for your answer.

I've read about web dispatcher and ICM configuration; but I'm still having a lot of concerns. As it is wrote in the documentation it is necessary to configure the rdis/mshost and ms/http_port parameters, but I really do not know what information I have to put within them. I've search into sap documentation and sdn, but I still havn't found an example where it is showed that the BSP application is accessed from extranet. I don't have basis team support, I would thank if someone knows a link where I could find more information.

The issue is that every installation is different so you need to talk to people who know your environment. There is no generic answer.
