Custom Field in Material Master

Hi All,

We need to create a custiom field in material master view, i.e. plant/storage location data.Could you please let me know if this is possible through conifguration or through coding.

Hi There

If you want to avoid the Coding/Enhancement for the Cutom fields,,

You can use the Material Classification,,

There you can maintain the Material Class- Characteristics,, and maintain the possible values,,

That can be selected in every material master , and easy to track by characteristics also,, it will solve your purpose and no need to go for the enhancements,,,
