TREX with DMS and archive (no KPRO)

Hello guys,

I am facing the following issue:

We are using document management (CA-DMS) in SAP with lots of thousands document info records. Document originals (mostly PDF) are stored in an OpenText archive which is accessed via HTTP content server interface. No KPro is used. TREX is used as search engine.

Now we want to use the TREX fulltext search within the document originals.

How do I have to setup our SAP system to get this running.

I have found several step by step instructions, how to configure fulltext search with DMS and TREX (e.g.Preparing fulltext search with TREX), but all of them are using KPro. Our originals are stored in an OptenText archive.

Is it possible to setup our TREX to index all files stored in the archive?

Which are the steps to configure?
