Recruitment Indicator for Vacant Position

Is there a way to indicate that a position is ready for recruitment? My client does not have the recruitment module, only OM. Once a position becomes vacant an entry is created in infotype 1007, but that does not mean that I HR should start recruiting for the position. Is there a infotype/indicator in the SAP standard that can be set on a position to show that recruitment should be initialised on a vacant position?

typically 1007 is the best guide for that to enable it for recruiting ie you can write a ABAP program to query open position etc otherwise you can consider this approach

The information related to Critical Positions can be stored in SAP delivered infotype 7400 (Key Indication). In
this infotype, system defines whether a job or position is indicated as a key job or key position. You can use
standard SAP delivered report RPTMC_SET_KEY_INDICATION to indicate jobs or positions as key jobs or key
positions, or to remove this indication. The report uses the implementation of Business Add-In Calculation of
Key Indication of Jobs and Positions (HRTMC_CALCULATE_KEY_INDICATION). You use this Business Add in
implementation to specify the logic that is to be used for the key indication.
