ERR_WIS_30280 error in Infoview

A user of Infoview was unable to load any reports, getting the following error:

The Web Intelligence server memory is full. Please log off and try to connect later. If the problem persists, contact your Business Objects administrator. (Error: ERR_WIS_30280)

We've cleared the problem by re-starting the BOXI server but are concerend as to why this happened.

Anyone any ideas?

THis can be caused by "bad design" reports. Such reports can consume all the available memor eg. if they fetch an very large number of data rows. It is advisable to impose restrictions on the number of data a report fetched by setting the limit in the universe connection definitions.
