I have a requirement to make a item overview field editable in ME52N tcode.

I have written a code to make the field editable in item overview level. The screen(MEREQ3211GRID-EKGRP) is not getting called by any of the loop.

so i tried for line item level...it worked but

When the filed is editable in line item level..complete item overview is grayed out..why?

could you please help me on this..

My question is..

1. Is there any way to make the field editable in item overview.

2. Why the item overview got grayed out ?
