System message KO115 (Balance of & is not zero), Process order

Hi PP Experts,

At transaction code: COR2, when we try to perform process order confirmation (set status to CLSD),

system allowing with warning message KO115.

We would like to change this message from warning to error.

Please advise that where can we change this message?

I have tried using transaction code: OBA5 but with no help.

Hi,

This specific message class is handled in the customizing of your Settlement profile (OPO7).

If you tick Can Be Settled the message will be a warning at Settlement and with to be Settled in Full il will be displayed as an error.

I hope this will help people who face the same issue.

Please go to SM30. Use table T100S and click maintain. Find KO 115 whether it is set to warning or error.

In my system, it is error message.

This means that the order is not settled. Do all the period end activities like variance calculation (T Code: KKS2) and subsequently settlement (T Code: KO88).

Then only the order balance would be zero after which it can be closed.

User-defined message control check the message is in these area

(T code)

Material costing OPR4_CK

Product cost controlling OPR4_KKP

Variances (collective processing) OPR4_KKS

Variances (individual processing) OPR4_KKS1 Production order:

cost calculation OPR4_PPCO

WIP calculation OPR4_KKA

Multi-level actual settlement OPR4_ACT

If not then might be you have done changes in program. Take help from ABAP consultant because by default is is an error message.

I am not sure but pls try with

Start transaction OBMSG.

Make the following new entry:

- Application Area: KO - MsgNo: 115

- Allowed: WE

- Standard: E - Switch off: Do not select

Are you working on SAP release 4.6c or 4.7?

If yes apply note - 560803.

Dear,

System will allow to close the order, only if the order balance is Zero.

For You Production order, The production order has some balance ( you have confirmed the production order or done the Goods movement or both)

If you don't want the order - then cancel the confirmation & goods movement associated with the order & then set the status closed or TECO

If the order is complete , do the settlement, system will set the balance for the order as zero

and then try to close the order

Thanks for the reply but it does not meet our requirement.

We want to change KO115 message from warning to error message.

We wish to know how to make this change?

As mentioned, I have tried using Tcode: OBA5 but seem not successful.

Please advice further.
