Characterictics used in order

Dear experts,

I am working for a project which runs variant configuration,my query is that-- Is there any transaction to find out , that a particular characteristic is being used in how many number of orders and the particular orders, can we find it from any table if possible.

To elaborate my question let me give u an example, say any Kmat has a class where say there are 12 chars and apart from some mandatory chars, there are optional char, now say in the order the customer is driven to the cu50 screen and he selects a particular char say..for example char3 and many other char in combination to form the final product,he wants.

Now the business wants to know in how many such orders the customer has selected the char3,say might be the customer has ordered for the material for say 800 times and out of those orders he might have selected the respective char3 for say 300 times and in the remaining 500 order ,the customer has selected some other char.

so the business wants to get a report that in how many orders the particular char3 was selected in the final product,

You can make use of CT12. enter the characteristic and check the box "classification" it will show you which are the objects have used that particular characteristics.
