how to find where in the code the attribute filled with value.

Dear Experts,

In CRM WEB UI, i have a date field in Service Contract General Data screen. This date field displays the default dates during creation of service contract. I want to know where is this field being populated with value. Even in general, how to know where in the code the WEB UI field gets populate with value.

In SAPGUI, its easy to find, just a watch point on this field would do, in webui, I am not sure.

Kindly advise asap.
