item cost to item

Hi All,

I have an item with valuation method as STANDARD. I did not give item cost while creating. when i try to do delivery system is giving error message-ITEM COST NOT DEFINED.

The specific field in the item master data has disabled.Now how to give item cost to this item.

Hi Nagaraju......

Its obvious. If you dont give Item Cost and then you try to deliver, system will definitely throughj an error of item cost.

Go to Inventory--> Inventory Transactions > Inventory Revaluation> Select item you want to dispatch and also warehouse.

Then put the new cost. this way your item gets a cost and then you can dispatch....
