1 more thing can we maintain BP Catalog for Service P.O.? just like Item P.O.

All i want to maintain Service Master as Item Master in BP Catalog.

Plz let me know if thr possibility for that?

Hi Ravi.......

You need to create Non Inventory Items which acts like Service Item and you can take it in BP Catalog No....

As u suggested to make Non Inventory items for Service Purpose.

But the thing is how can i pick the price(Service Item Price given in BP Catalog) in Service P.O.

Can you not map Prices of Items in Price List.

I guess it solves your purpose.....

Hi Rahul,

We are maintaing prcie through BP catalog.

We want Service Purchase Order as Item Purchase Order.

i.e. We have only one vendor for a particular Item.

If we are purchasing Item 'A' from Vendor 'ABC' thr is no other Vendor for Item 'A', so we have maintained BP Catalog for that.

And now in Job Work as u suggested make non Inventory/Service Master is a very good idea, and i want to go through but in that case i need BP catalog No. for Service Master. But the problem is service P.O. is not connected to Item Master Data/Service Master so how can we get BP Price on Service Purchase Order by default.

Hi Ravi....

For such item maintain price in price list

Create a Non Inventory item treate it as service assign it to BP catalog no. then select such in PO

and the moment you select item its BP catalog name appears in item code field

but if u create Items as service then you should raise item po not service PO
