Reporting Reports to a universe

Hi all

Does Business Objects Webi Reports point to the universe filename or some container string, for example could a user drop a newer updated universe into a folder with the previous filename and the reports still work...

Webi reports link to universe by universe CUID - unique ID that cannot be duplicated.

If CUID no longer exist - Webi will attempt to find universe by its Short Name and if found will attempt to refresh using that universe.

You should avoid scenarious when "user drop a newer updated universe into a folder with the previous filenam"

it's what you name the Univ when you first create it, usuly = to file name, and can't be changed...
