Input field want to make default

Hi,

I want to make aquisition value currency USD by default in equipment maste (IE01 / IE02). Can any body have idea?

Hi Jayesh,

Follow the SPRO path(Customization) as Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Technical Objects > Equipment > Define Field Selection for the Equipment Master Record and execute, here select the activity 'Field Selection for Equipment (Common Fields for Equipment/Funct. Location)' and choose it. Select the field 'Acquisition Value' as required and save it and again try to create it, will find the field mandatory.

Please check and revert.

Dear,

You can do this with transaction variant for IE01 and IE02 through SHD0

Search on SDN you will get lot of good material to do this with SHD0.

In SHD0 before saving the transaction variant, Click on "W. content" checkbox for the corresponding fields.
