Delegation of authority for PR/PO approval

Is it possible to delegate the authority to release PR/PO in absence of the main approver .

If yes how it can be achieved ?

Only way to assign the same role with period limits .

no you cannot delegate authority.

You can autoforward the workflow items to someone else during your absence, but the otherone has to have the authority.

You can assign the same role to the delegate, and restrict the role by a valid from and valid to date.

So it need to handle through the work flow ?

Or a functional consultant can do it himself .

Can you please elaborate on this or send some document which will help to sort this out .

Hi,

Both Functional Consultant and Work flow Consultant should sit together and do it .

Mostly Work Flow / Basis consultant will do it . Seek the help from them.
