can IDOC PORDCR1 be used to change PO

Hi Experts

PORDCR1 IDoc is for BAPI ALE messaging and will execute the BAPI_PO_CREATE BAPI and used to create PO.

can I use IDOC PORDCR1

only to create Purchase orders or can I change POs as well?

Any clue what I have to maintain when I want to create change orders?

Is it possible to make a z message type which have attributes

of PORDCR1 and PORDCH , and we can use IDOC with this message type

for both PO creation and PO Change

Anything is possible if you decide to go the custom route; You can create your own message type and IDOC type and then your own 'Z' function module .. In this Z function module, you can code the logic to call BAPI create / change.

Yes PORDCR1 can be used to change PO ,

as mentioned you just haev to create your customized message type with required fields

tha you want to upload , but do send mandatory fields.
