data not insert into variable from table VBPA

Dear ABAPER'S,

DATA: l_LIFNR type LIFNR

let WA_LIKP-VBELN = 1008460140

SELECT SINGLE LIFNR FROM VBPA INTO L_LIFNR WHERE PARVW = 'CR' AND VBELN = WA_LIKP-VBELN.

when i go to debug then SY-SUBRC= 4

no data come in L_LIFNR .

Please help me.
