Hi , i was very happy with your previous responces.now my questions is

  • I got a requirement to create (exclusive but not cumulative) lock object, here i have mentioned NAME and LOCK MODE. and checked lock parameter tab to view key fields. every thing is fien . but when i am trying to access the locked table. it is working like SHARED LOCK (opening in one session in edit mode and also opening the same table in other sessions also in display mode). what to do give me an idea on this.

Hi gof,

Be clear your Lock mode creation from your side, either Share level lock / Cumulative ?

When you say table in EDIT mode, are you referring to SM30? As pointed out in earlier post, read up on LOCK, as SAP's lock is a logical lock rather than database lock
