control recipe destination and process instruction category change

PP-PI scenario:

Requirement from the user to change the process instruction category

from control recipe destination.

After adding the process instruction category in control recipe destination what else we need to do to make the process instruction category working?

Any other step need to be performed if so what they are?

Can some one tell me the step by step activity that needs to be performed.
