SAP Extended Warehouse Management Storage Process and Replenishment I am using the storage process for replenishment with a repacking step:
Picking
Packing
Putaway.
This is working so far without issues. But I have the following problem: until I close the HU and the putaway task is created the SAP standard does not recognize that replenishment is on the way. /SCWM/REPL creates replenishment taks again and again until the putaway task is created. I didnt find any OSS Note for this issue. Anyone had this issue before? Thanks, Daniel
Hi,
never had this issue before - because never tried. But I would say: of course this happens. Because there is no WT yet for the bin which is to be replenished. So the report creates a new replenishment task. It is only a task (which means a warehouse request or a warehouse task), but there no status or something like that which says "replenishment was requested".
How often do you run the report for replenishment?

Hi Juergen,
sorry for the late reply and thanks for your answer! This is correct. SAP standard seems to only check if a taks to the final bin has been created. But using the storage process control it is not possible to create the putaway product WT together with the picking taks.
Out report was meant to run only 2 times every day. But still it happened that 3-4 tasks for the same bin were generated.
