Hello,
I have a question regarding asset accounting.
When I use transaction AIAB to transfer an asset under construction to a fixed asset, the Asset Under Construction account is not cleared.
I would to know if it should be cleared and how to do if it is possible?
Many thanks
Best Regards
R.
Thank you for your quick answer.
We supposed that it was the way it behaves but we wanted to be sure and have an external point of view.
Thank you very much.

Hi
You should execute AIAB and AIBU to clear the AUC and settle the same on an Asset
AIAB - I guess you enter the distribution rule i.e. you establish a relation between AUC and the Prospective receiver asset

Hi Ajay,
Thank you for your quick answer.
I've made all the steps you mentioned.
I used AIAB ( With creation of the distribution rule) and after AIBU.
But when I check the Asset Under Construction account open items via transaction FBL3N I notice that the account is not cleared.
Is this situation normal?
Thank you
Regards.
R
