Certificates online?

Hi,

SAP states that itu2019s possible to set up SAP so that the customers can download there certificate by them self from the internet.

After investigating this a little bit more in detail I get the feeling that this is a large exaggeration. It's seems to be possible to set up this if your customer also runs SAP but not as an external service for end customers. Could this be correct? Is it possible to give access to created certificates to customers without SAP?
