Issue with Partitioning

Hello Guy's,

When i am performing partitioning for one of the cube , I am facing following Issue

Short text

No more storage space available for extending an internal table.

The amount of storage space (in bytes) filled at termination time was:

Roll area...................... 6182880

Extended memory (EM)........... 3004185792

Assigned memory (HEAP)......... 2486066256

Short area..................... " "

Paging area.................... 32768

Maximum address space.......... 18446696391559421119

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

keywords:

"TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" " "

"CL_RSDU_IC_COMP_REPART========CP" or "CL_RSDU_IC_COMP_REPART========CM00B"

"FILL_SX_QUERY_EFACT"

whether we need to implement any SAP Note or I need a raise a ticket to SAP.

Please Suggest me in this regard.

Hi,

Before checking for SAP NOtes, please check with yout basis team whether there is any issue with database and ask them to extend the database for that internal table.

That I ahve already discussed with Basis People . This is the information I got from Basis people.

Answer given by Basis People.

When the job dump, a very large quantity of memory was used in the server :

Roll area...................... 6182880

Extended memory (EM)........... 3004185792

Assigned memory (HEAP)......... 2486066256

Short area..................... " "

Paging area.................... 32768

Maximum address space.......... 18446696391559421119

About 3Gb extended + 3Gb heap = 6Gb.

Thatu2019s the reason why I said that itu2019s not a system issue (6Gb is not a normal use of memory) and I think itu2019s better to raise a ticket to SAP.

I try to find an oss note about this topic, but unfortunately without success.
