Batch Number Generations

Hi All

I have Externally managed Batch Number assignment.

Now for GRPO I need to generate the Btaches according to a pre-set logic.

Like Year Code / Group Code / Incremental Number etc.

How can I achieve this ?

Do I need to use the BADI or any standard customizations can suffice my requirements
