Hostname unknown

I've installed 7.10 GUI in my laptop and trying to access SAP. But I'm getting an error stating "hostname 'va02cs01' unknown. I've searched the forum before posting this message, and people were telling to include the hostname in the 'hosts' file in C drive / Windows / System32 / drivers / etc, which I did. Still I'm having issues.
