ALV not getting displayed

Hi Experts,

I am working on webdynpro application.I am using 2 views Read_values and Display_values.

In read_values i am entering the material number and siplaying the table using ALV in Display_values.

Problem i am not able to see ALV display in Display_values.

In window I embeded Display_values, Read_values and Table of the ALV_TEST.

Now while creating the navigation link i am not able to do how to link with this table .It has only inbound plug.

I linked with Read_values outbound plug to this.But i am not seeing the ALV table in output.

Hi,

In Display_values view, create a view container say 'VC1'

In window, embed the TABLE of used ALV component in VC1 of the Display_values view.

And link Read_values outbound plug to inbound plug of Display_values. Then it should work!

Thanks alot ..I could solve the problem.

But here in the final display I am seeing all fields of the table ( here VBAP ).But i want few only ( which ever the fields I have selected in the context node as attributes ).

Hi,

FIrst check if you have specified a structure(VBAP line) for Dictionary Structure property of the context node which you have mapped to ALV DATA. If its there, just remove the name from that property and then it should work fine.

If thats not the case, let me know.
