How to view if the material document is cancelled in MIGO?

Hi,

If material document is cancelled with transaction MBST then it would show in MIGO>display in Header>Doc Info tab>Transaction>Cancel Material Document MBST.

But if it is cancelled in transaction MIGO with reversal movement, then it does not show in header and has to be identified at item level with the reversal movement type 102.

Hi dear,

A normal document and deleted document will differ only in terms of movement type.A cancelled or deleted document will have a movement type corresponding to reversal or negative movement with respect to that of regular movement type.

e.g. Material is issued by 261movement in case of backflush and reversed by 262. So if you see material document of 262 in MIGO then under details data tab you will movement type 262 with positive sign.Indicating that by 261 you are reducing the stock and by 262 you are adding to stock.Similarly you can check for 101 and 102, 201 & 202, etc.

Thus it all depends on the movemement type.

What do you mean by deleted material document...I have never heared a deleted material document.

Yes we can cancel or reverse a material document, if that is what you want to see, you can display that in MIGO display document option wrt a the material document you have cancelled. Not here is the twist the document that has been cncelled or reversed create anew material document wrt a reversal movement type.

So we are talking here about two material document first the original material documennt with a movement type and the other with the reverse movement type.

No differentaite in both document only from mov. type u can find that it is cancelled doc.

the original movement is not updated when you cancel it. SAP just creates a new movement for the cancellation.

But this new movement has then the original material document number as a reference in field MSEG-SMBLN

to get this info into MIGO display material document field (of the original material document) you would need to enhance the screens and programs.

But what you are telling is available at the item level not at the header level table....correct me if I am wrong. She is asking is there any indicator at the header level.

in MBST you are asked to select an item for cancellation.

As it is possible to cancel just one item instead of all items, it does not make sense to have such info at header level.

The header level has info that is common for all items.

Use t.code: MB51 with movement type and execute. For example movement type may be 102 or 262 or 202 or 222 etc..

I know we can view deleted doc throgh MB51 or PO history and so on. But where in MIGO itself we can see whether the mat doc has been deleted when we display the mat doc in MIGO

You can view the material document in MIGO as well as MB03

In MIGO,

Top of the screen select display- material document- Number( enter) and then press enter

It will show the display of material document

If have material do number with you can check it in MB03 transaction

IF you cancel material doc then you can also see in po history in po

or you can check MB51 t-code also for you material with movement type 102
