Hi:
I have experienced the same problem once and it was because we were setting log flag while evaluating too many employees for too many payroll periods.
Is this occuring while simulating payroll for one or more employees? And obviously for how many payroll periods? Log should be required only for payroll simulation of few employees.
Please review:

Note 103747 - Performance: Parameter recommendations as of Release 4.0
Hope it helps,
Regards.

We have an issue with one of our payroll areas containing a very large number of employees. Our non-technical approach is to split the PERNRs into two groups for payroll processing.

Howard
