How to save released work order

Hi All,

Iam using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to create and save the order.

Its working fien order is in created status. BUt if order is Release status its not allowing me to save.Its giving me the Error 'No changes to cost estimate allowed'....

Please let me know how to resolve it....

Hi Parimal,

Did you try to change the work order manually?

In case you get these kind of messages, I would first try if the transaction in question is allowing this or not. At least in this way you can confirm if the message is attributed somehow to your coding or to the configuration as Breakpoint pointed out earlier. Obviously in case the latter there is nothing you can do from a technical point of view and you should discuss twith the functional analyst.

sounds like config setting that intentionally prohibits what you're trying to change...are you changing the cost estimate?
