Importing SCs versions

Hi experts, I've been using the CMS without any problem, but now I have a question to know what's the right procedure in the next case.

Many times after making changes on a SC, we need to test them but we don't whant to move these versions to production. After doing this actions for a while and when finally want to import the SC in production, we find out that there are a lot of versions of the same SC with differents dates. What is the right way to import this in production? I import the SC with the highest date andit works fine for me but the other older versions still exists in approval waiting for import.

Is this the right way to procced or I should import all the SC versions in the same order as they were created?
