Thanks Eugene,

Sorry for the vague question, what i really meant was how can i identify the last task executed?

There is a way to report on the tasks and the associated task status details. Although I am vaguely aware of this I am not familiar with it, but I think this would give the the time of the last execution for each and this should provide the information regarding which was last executed.

Dan is right. This feature is called 'status reporting'. Though, it's available from EhP2 (if I'm not mistaken):

http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/45/d928d27eb86f75e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm

It will give info that you need: which user executed which task and when.

Thanks Eugene and Dan, this issue has been resolved..both of you really help me a lot!

I have this one question again, coz im trying to drag the currency key in local currency to the pool of fields not used (UCWB<Data Model<Data Basis<Data Model(TAB)) but nothing happened, i can't transfer it to the pool of fields not used .

I can transfer other fields except for the currency key in local currency. Hopefully you can enlighten me with this.

Thanks and Good Day!

Hi Jamiro,

A few notes:

1. As you may already see, your original question was formulated too vague and allowed double meaning. Please be more accurate in future.

2. I think that everybody who asnwers questions is interested in the feedback from the topicstarter. You still didn't tell us what was the exact question and what exactly helped. Please share this with us.

3. There is not written rule: every question is to be in its own thread. So, the last question about local currency key should have been put in a new thread.

4. About the Last Q. Thecurrency key in local currency is a mandatory characteristic for BCS. Without it the consolidation process in BCS is impossible. You'll not be able to make LC key not used.

It should be evendent when looking at the task hirarchy. If it is not evendent by the task names it should be evedent by the task categories.

Dan, it's not evident during run-time when a user may execute task almost in any sequence.

You may want to consider assigning preceding tasks in the consolidation task configuration to avoid the execution of tasks that should not be executed until the preceding tasks are executed successfully.

Yep, Dan,

it's the same problem for the most of questions in the forum: not detailed description of the situation related to the question (allowing controversial meanings), vague feedback (not allowing to understand the issue) or no feedback at all from the topicstarter.

Personally I prefer waiting for some clarification. No more quessing from my side.

Dan, preceding tasks will just cancel the statuses of the prev executed tasks. Will it prevent from the execution of the task which predecessors were executed with errors or not executed at all?

Eugene, It's been some time since I've actually set up preceding tasks and cannot recall for sure, but I thought it raised an error if the preceding tasks were not successfully completed. I do not have a system to prove or disprove this.

How can I identify/find the task before the last currency translation task in UCWB?

- During execution, in run-time?

Might be this info is kept in some tables. Right now I do not see any way of getting it, except some customizing with BAdI.

Why do you need this, if it's not a secret? Maybe some workarounds exist...
