PI Alerts

I have configured alerts in PI 7.1 and I get the alerts into my Inbox but i do not see any description, I have given all the three container elements mentioned in the longtext

The message I got in my Inbox is below

Subject: Error: was found in a message from the interface

Alert ID: ##07920##

Error: was found in a message

This is what I have given in longtext

Error: &SXMS_ERROR_CODE& was found in a message &SXMS_MSG_GUID&

Hi,

Did you add the Alert expressions in the Container and then use in the same expressions in Short text/Long text.

HI,

if the value for the container variables does not get populat during runtime then the value for container variable will get passed as blank instead of container variable...

so just cross check the defined container variables and format used..
