USer Default - CUP

Experts,

I had an idea and wanted to throw it out to the forum. Has anyone ever populated the fields 'user groups' and or 'license type' by the roles selected in a request using 'User Defaults'. Normally from what I've read you need to manually select these but if you could populate based on the roles you selected that would be some nice intelligence added to a user request.

Any thoughts are appreciated!
