Version Management

Hi all,

I carried out a change in a structure created by some other developer and transported it to QA.The system created a new version and set it as "modif" rather than "active" and kept the previous version "Active".So changes are not getting reflected on QA.I tried to retrieve my version as active version but get message that client is non-modifiable.Can anyone suggest how to make my version as "active"version?
