un able to login to visuval admin tool

Hi expertes,

When i am trying to login visuval admin tool it is show error like this "Error while connecting" and "com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseLoginException: Cannot authenticate the user."

1. i am able to login to nertweaver admin.

2. i am able to login to SDM.

3. i am able to login to JSPM.

4.User and password is correct.

5.we are able to connect database also.

Please help me in this reagrd.If any one help me i am very thankful to you people.

Dear Raghu,

it seems like that the password is different between the active user store and Secure store - j2ee_admin's password must be identical to the password specified in secure store.

- use the config tool /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/j2ee/configtool/configtool.sh

- go to "secure store"

- select the "admin/password/<SID> field

- enter j2ee_admin's password as known in value field

- choose "file" then "apply" to save your changes.

- u have to restart SDM as follows: cd /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/SDM/program; ./StopServer.sh; ./StartServer.sh

that should solve the problem.
