Reg: MDM adapter in PI 7.1

Dear All,

My scenario is IDOC PI(7.1) MDM(7.1) .

In moni it is showing successful and when checked in Runtime workbench for MDM adapter (receiver communication channel) it is showing error as,

"Message processing failed. Cause: java.lang.Exception: JNDI name of the ra connectionFactory is not configured. Go to the directory and create a value with name 'JNDIName' and value 'deployedAdapters/<ra name>/shareable/<ra name>' as module configuration data of the module 'ModuleProcessorExitBean' "

Can anyone suggest me on this.

Hi All,

In the Receiver MDM Adapter module, I have entered as,

Processing sequence

Module Name type Module key

localejbs/ModuleProcessorExitBean Local Enterprise Bean exit

Module Configuration

Module key Parameter Name Parameter Value

exit JNDIName deployedAdapters/sap.com_tcmdm_adapterjca/shareable/sap.com_tcmdm_adapterjca

Now am able to see successful message in runtime workbench but in moni it says "Still waiting for acknowledgment"

Could anyone help me out in this.

Hi Lavanya,

First you should configure the JNDI name using NWA for reference of the deployed module

In Receiver MDM Adapter, you have to do make an entry, like In Module configuration tab

Parameter Name : JNDIName

Parameter Value: deployedAdapters/sap.com_tcmdm_adapterjca/shareable/sap.com_tcmdm_adapterjca

(You can find this Parameter value in the MDM Adapter metadata in the IR.)

You have to define above this, prior to standard adapter module.

Module Configuration

Module key Parameter Name Parameter Value

Could you please explain me in detail what need to filled as this is the first time I am configuring the MDM Adapter.

Hi Lavanya,

First check the Basis team wether the deployed MDM adapter via JSPM.If they deployed successfully then Check with MDM team for configuration parameters and start/ stop the MDM Receiver CC.if still have the same issue....Ask to your basis team to redeploy the MDM adapter in PI

Module configuration.

exit JNDIName deployedAdapters/sap.com_tcmdm_adapterjca/shareable/sap.com_tcmdm_adapterjca
